Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. Plain English first; legal precision in the sections after.

Plain-English summary

  • We collect the information you give us on the application form so a partner lender can quote you financing.
  • We share that information with the one partner lender we route you to. We do not sell your data to lead aggregators.
  • We use standard analytics tools (Google Analytics) to understand which pages people read, without identifying you by name.
  • You can delete your data by emailing privacy@fundmyequipment.com.

Information we collect

From you, when you apply: business name, contact name, email, phone, equipment type, asset price, time in business, credit-tier self-report, and TCPA consent.

Automatically: IP address (hashed for security), browser/device type, referrer URL, pages viewed, and the search terms (if any) that brought you to the site. We use this for analytics, fraud prevention, and rate-limiting abusive traffic.

What we do not collect: we do not pull your credit report. Pre-qualification soft-pulls are performed by the partner lender we route you to, not by us. We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank account details, or government IDs.

How we use it

  • To route your application to a matched partner lender.
  • To send you status updates by email or SMS (only if you opted in via the TCPA consent on the application).
  • To improve site content (aggregated analytics, never identifying you by name).
  • To fulfill legal obligations (responding to subpoenas, maintaining the consent log).

Who we share it with

We share your application data with the single partner lender we route you to. We do not sell your data to lead aggregators or third-party marketers. We use standard service providers (email delivery, hosting, analytics) under data-protection contracts.

Your rights

You can:

  • Request a copy of the data we hold on you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (we may need to retain TCPA consent records for legal compliance).
  • Opt out of SMS by replying STOP. Opt out of email via the unsubscribe link on every email.

California, GDPR, and other jurisdictions

California residents (CCPA): you have the right to know what we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell). EU and UK residents (GDPR/UK-GDPR): the lawful basis for processing is consent (TCPA box on the form) and legitimate interest (fraud prevention, security). Cookies

We use first-party cookies for session management and Google Analytics. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies for advertising.

Data retention

Application data: 7 years (consistent with state record-keeping requirements for financial transactions). TCPA consent records: 5 years after consent revoked. Analytics: aggregated indefinitely; identifying information purged after 26 months.
